Akshay Kumar, as brand ambassador of Government of India’s road safety campaign (Sadak Suraksha) is trying to bring behavioral change in people regarding traffic and road safety issues. On Tuesday, Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Brand Ambassador of road safety campaign Akshay Kumar released a video on the awareness for road safety.
This road safety week campaign’s name is named as “Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Suraksha”. The videos of Akshay have been viral on social media sites. He speaks out:

Akshay Kumar speaks to one of our sources, “I immediately joined the road safety campaign as soon as I got to know some shocking facts and figures about the road accidents which can be prevented”. He also added, the number of people killed in road accidents are more than people who die in the war. In these videos, he is seen as a cop and urges people to follow the traffic rules strictly.
