After Arun Jaitely decided to walk out from cabinet sighting health concerns, BJP President Amit Shah has joined PM’s cabinet as Union Minister.

The previous defense minister Nirmala Sitharaman is now the first woman Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister of India. Former Home Minister Rajnath Singh takes Defence Ministry.

Former Foreign Secretary, S Jaishankar will handle External affairs. Smriti Irani has been allocated Women and Child development and has retained Textiles.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is now a Cabinet Minister for “Jal Shakti,” which will be an essential area for the new government. The Agriculture Ministry allotted to Narendra Singh Tomar.

Ravi Shankar Prasad retained the Law, Dharmendra Pradhan retained Petroleum, and Piyush Goyal retained Railways. Here is the full list.
