Rahul Gandhi’s Indian overseas diaspora event in West London on Saturday was interrupted by people claiming to be Pro Khalistani supporters. This happened on the 25th of August 2018, when Rahul Gandhi was about to arrive at the venue to speak and meet the Indian diaspora and answer their questions.
According to sources, the Khalistani activists gained access to the event and started shouting “Khalistan Zindabad”. To this, the crowd replied by shouting “Congress Zindabad”. The activists refused to leave the venue and were finally escorted out by the Police and security. All this drama happened before Rahul Gandhi’s arrival at the event itself. The event is supposed to be the last point of interaction of Rahul Gandhi’s UK visit.
