We planned our 2-day vacations to Amboseli National Park during the month of October, took the air route and opted for the campsite. We planned an evening safari and a morning safari the same day availing the same ticket. While on safari, we carried drinking water, binoculars, camera, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and guidebooks. From the Observation Hill, we got a splendid view of the entire Amboseli National Park, worth the picture of a lifetime. Adding to this majestic view was the backdrop of snow-capped mountains of Kilimanjaro. We were surrounded by a  large herd of elephants within 5 yards of our safari vehicle which gave way for some incredible pictures and selfies.

We didn’t see any killings but saw some aggressive confrontations between a pair of Lions & Buffaloes. It didn’t result in a blood bath as Lions surrendered to the wily Buffalo bulls & left the area. We were lucky to get a glimpse of majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro which was always cloud covered except for a few beautiful moments.
