How to Apply for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 (यूपी पुलिस भर्ती)

  • Goto the official website
  • Under the left section of “Online Application Process” click on Candidate Registration
  • Candidate needs to fill in the mandatory details
  • Fill all relevant details in Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Registration Form 2018
  • After registration is complete, download UP Police Constable Application Form 2018, fill all important details in online form like your name, qualification, personal details
  • Upload the self-attested mandatory documents along with duly filled UP Police Constable Online Application Form
  • Photograph and signature need to be uploaded at the time of registration only
  • Size of the photograph uploaded must be at minimum 30KB and max 80 KB and size of the signature should be minimum 3KB and max 80 KB
  • The format of uploaded files must be JPG or JPEG
  • How to upload ID proof? Paste recent passport size photograph on a plain paper as shown in the screengrab below. Scan it and crop to the size as shown such that photograph and signature are selected together. UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018: Selection Procedure

Structure of Written Examination for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 (यूपी पुलिस भर्ती). Details can be accessed form annexure 1 of official notification on

  • Question Paper will be objective type with multiple choices
  • Total marks will be 300
  • 150 multiple choice questions each carrying “2” marks
  • The exam will cover the following topics with the distribution of questions
    • General Knowledge – 38 Questions
    • General Hindi – 37 Questions
    • Numerical & Mental Ability – 38 Questions
    • Mental Aptitude, IQ and Reasoning Ability – 37 Questions
  • There will be negative marking of 0.5 Marks for each incorrect answer
  • Duration of the exam is 02 hours
  • Physical Test (PST) will only be of qualifying nature. It will not carry any marks

Final selection of candidates will be done on the grounds of performance and assessment in written exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and document verification.
