Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax, Bengaluru has released notification for the hiring of qualified and eligible 20750 personnel for a number of profiles. These vacancies include posts of A.O cadre, Tax assistant, Income-tax Officer, Executive, TA steno grade-2, PS Cadre, Driver, Group c LDC, Inspector, multi-tasking staff and various posts in all states of India. Income tax recruitment 2018-19 is a bonanza from central government for 10th/12th/graduates students. As of now, only official notification has come out but the details on exams are awaited.   • OBC Candidates                : 3 years
  • Govt. Servants and SSCOs belonging to SC /ST:  10 years

  • Inspector of Income-tax: Rs.44,900/- per month
  • Tax Assistant: Rs.25,500/- per month
  • Multi-Tasking Staff: Rs.19,000/- per month
  • Stenographer Grade 2 Vacancy: Rs.20,200/- per month

Steps to apply for vacancies in Income Tax department recruitment 2018

  1. Check for the official notification on www.incometaxindia.gov.in
  2. Verify whether you meet the eligibility conditions
  3. If you meet all the specified conditions against a post, register yourself
  4. Select “Register user/ Login”
  5. Keep a note of the email id and mobile number used
  6. After registration, login to the online form with the credentials
  7. On the Income Tax Online Application Form, enter the details carefully, select the post to be applied for
  8. Ensure that the particulars filled in the form are accurate and keep it as a reference along with Registration Number and Password
  9. On FINAL SUBMIT of the application for income tax recruitment 2018 apply online, take a print out of filled form for future use.

Please Note: No change in any of the data filled in the online application will be entertained after the candidate has clicked on FINAL SUBMIT button. While filling online application it is advised to opt for “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify if required.
