IBPS Specialist Officer Recruitment 2018: Apply Online

IBPS recruitment 2018Institution of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has recently released the notification regarding the recruitment of Specialist Officer. It will conduct an online examination as a part of the recruitment process. There will be Preliminary and Mains exam as a part of the Common Recruitment Process for the selection of candidates for the post of Specialist Officers in the participating organization. There is a total of 1599 vacancies, the bifurcation of which is as follows:

Educational Qualification:

1- Agricultural Field Officer (Scale 1):

4 year graduation degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Agri. Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agri Marketing & Cooperation/ Co-operation & Banking/ Agro-Forestry from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.

2- Marketing Officer (Scale 1):

Graduation and Full-Time MBA in Marketing/ Full Time 2 years PGDBA/ PGDBM with specialisation in Marketing from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.

3- I.T Officer (Scale 1):

  • 4 year Engineering Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
  • OR, Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
  • OR, Should be Graduate having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.

4- HR/Personnel Officer (Scale 1):

A Graduate degree and 2 YearFull-time Post Graduate degree or Full time Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ HR/HRD/ Social Work/ Labour Law from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.

5- Law Officer (Scale 1):

  • A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
  • And, enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.

6- Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale 1):

  • Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the graduation level,
  • Or, Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the graduation level.

Age Limit:

The minimum age to apply for the post as on 26 November 2018 should be 20 years and the maximum age is 30 years.

Selection Procedure:

The selection procedure will include a Preliminary exam, Mains exam and then an interview.

Apply Online for IBPS Special Officer Post:

The interested candidates can apply only for the SO post by visiting the official website of IBPS. Click here to visit the website. The online applications will be available from 6 November 2018 and the last date to apply is 26 November 2018.

Application Fee:

The application fee to apply for the examination is Rs 100/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates and Rs 600/- for General and OBC.

The payment can be made by Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ Mobile Wallets.

Download Admit Card for IBPS SO Exam:

The admit card will be available in December 2018. You will be able to download it from the official website of IBPS or we will update you with the link.

Exam Date:

The Preliminary exam will be conducted on 29 December 2018 and 30 December 2018. Those who qualify in the preliminary exam will be called to appear for the Mains exam that will be conducted on 27 January 2019. The admit card for the Mains exam will be available for download in January 2019.

Result:

The result of the preliminary exam will be out in January 2019. The declaration of result of Mains exam will be made in February 2019. Those who pass the mains exam will qualify for the interview that will be conducted in February 2019. The provisional allotment will be made in April 2019.
