Hilarious road safety ads featuring Akshay Kumar

Sadak Suraksha funny videos made by Ministry of Road Transport

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has positioned himself very well in the film industry. He is currently the most highly paid Indian actor leaving behind Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. What makes him the most bankable star is the kind of content he chooses. He is often seen doing films with patriotic content and social issues. In recent years, he has done films like Baby, Holiday, Airlift that is based on patriotism and has done films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and Padman which targets the social issue. His movie Padman started a debate on taxing menstrual pads and eventually Government moved them out of tax net.

Even his latest release Gold is a patriotic film. However, regarding the choice of his films, he had said, “I don’t do patriotic films to prove a point, I do it because the stories are so beautiful… I watched ‘Gold’ for the second time last night and I was blown away. We knew that we were making a sports drama but we didn’t think it would turn out to be such a commercial film.”

Recently, the actor got featured in videos that informed the public about the traffic rules and its importance. In a sarcastic yet hilarious way. He is teaching some important lessons to people who break the traffic rules. He acts as a traffic cop in the three videos posted by him on social media. The campaign is known as ‘Sadak Suraksha Abhiyan‘ and it has many funny videos.

His caption read as:

It is always better to be safe than sorry. Follow traffic rules for your own and others safety kyunki road kisi ke baap ki nahi hai.
