‘Hero Too’, OST from My Hero Academia exceeds 5 million views on YouTube

With the upcoming season 4 finale for “My Hero Academia” there is no better way to wait than to listen to its English OST on YouTube.

Twitter account for Boku No Hero Academia has announced that the OST of the show racked up over 5 million views within a week of its release on YouTube.

Earlier, Toho Animations also shared a music video of My Hero Academia season 4, episode 23 song, Hero Too on their YouTube channel. The fans were eagerly waiting to get to see a music video for this song, and Toho Animations didn’t disappoint them. Ayapeta penned down the original lyrics for the song, and Yuki Hayashi from Yuuki Hayashi Music composed the score for this music video.

Chrissy Costanza of Against The Current fame, who is a popular American Vocalist and YouTube star, has provided the vocals for this song. She posted a message on Twitter thanking her fans who supported her song, which became a hit.

“I’m so happy you guys love Hero Too! Thank you for all the kind words,” she mentioned in her twitter post regarding the song’s success.

Kyoka Jiro (and U.A A-1 Heroes the band) performs this song in the climax of the 4th cultural festival arc at the U.A. School Festival, in the anime. The song also features most of the main cast from the academy.

Toho Animation produces My Hero Academia, and Studio Bones airs the show every Saturday at 5:30 pm on Yomiuri Television as well as on the 29 other stations of Nippon Television Network all over Japan.

The finale for season 4 is going to air in Japan on 4th April 2020.
