8904 Junior Associate Vacancies in SBI Recruitment 2019

SBI Recruitment 2019: State Bank of India in an official release has invited online application for the post of Junior Associates – Customer Support and Sales. The total number of vacancies listed in the notification is 8904 covering different categories under regular and backlog vacancies. For more details on the breakup region wise and category wise, you can check out the official advertisement. The selection process of Clerk in SBI involves three stages, namely two written tests conducted in Preliminary and Mains’ stages followed by an interview. Scores of candidates appear for the exams but only 8904 will be shortlisted under clerical cadre. Candidate can apply for a vacancy in only one state. Refer to the advertisement for more details.

How to apply SBI Clerk Job Notification 2019 Online?

  • Keep ready a valid personal e-mail ID. The registered e-mail id should be kept functional until completion of the selection process. All the communication will be sent to the candidates to the registered e-mail ID only
  • For online registration click on official website Select “Latest Announcements”. Alternatively, you can directly click on
  • Upload photograph and signature as per the specifications are given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature (Annexure)
  • Fill in personal details and the name should match with SSC/SSLC/X Standard Marks Card
  • Prior to submission of the online application, it is advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” feature to verify details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
  • No change is permitted after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT Button. Submission of incorrect/false information in the online application will lead to disqualification
  • Candidate will be taken to pay the fees online via the selected mode of payment  Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking
  • On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated.
  • After successful registration, take system generated print-out of Registered Online Application and e-receipt.
  • If e-receipt is not generated, the online transaction may not have been successful
  • An online application which is incomplete in any respect such as without proper passport size photograph and signature uploaded in the online application form/ unsuccessful fee payment will not be considered as valid.
  • Retain a copy of the final online application print out along with Registration Number & Password safely for records

Selection Procedure for SBI Clerk 2019

Selection to the post of Junior Associate in the clerical cadre will be done by two written exams Preliminary and Mains followed by Test of Local language selected. Marks scored in Preliminary examination will not be counted in the shortlisting for Mains exam. Candidate will be provisionally selected o the basis of his performance in Mains. Final selection of the candidate will happen only after he clears document verification and Test of Opted Local Language.

The medium of examination will be English and Hindi with the online objective test pattern as below.  Duration of online exam will be 2 hours.
