The US-based agency, US’ EIA said that a study by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory finds that the Bureau of Energy Efficiency’s programme to have standard minimum efficiency level with competitive labeling will help save 27 terawatt-hours of electricity used annually by 2020.
Higher star rating AC may cost a bit more initially but gives more saving later by consuming less power.
4. Types Of AC
There are three main types of AC, and it is essential to know their meaning and differences.
1. Inverter AC or Non- Inverter AC
As compared to Non-Inverter AC, Inverter AC gives less electricity bill because compressor varies speed which adjusts power depending on load.
