One last heist- ‘The Last Days of American Crime’ only on Netflix on June 5

The Last Days of American Crime is an upcoming crime-thriller movie by Oliver Megaton.

Based on the 2009 near-future graphic novel by Rick Remender and Greg Tocchini, The Last Days of American Crime would come to Netflix on June 5. The movie will feature Edgar Ramirez, Anna Brewster, and Michael Pitt in the lead roles but from the initial looks it’s Michael Pitt who steals the trailer for this heist film.

Netflix has started coming up with a variety in the least ventured genres to thrive, and maybe this can break people out of the Marvel Vs DC mindset. Netflix promising stuff like Last Days of American Crime, Extraction, 6 Underground, Point Blank, Triple Frontier, Polar, the Night Comes For Us, Wheelman is really working hard to keep the action film genre fresh.

Couple of days back, Netflix unveiled the first look at gritty comic adaptation -The Last Days of American Crime. Needless to say that the crime thriller is freaking crazy and has chaos written all over.

The Last Days of American Crime shows the story of Graham Bricke, a career criminal who is trying to get back in the game after his brother’s death.

As per the official description provided by Netflix
“As a final response to terrorism and crime, the U.S. government plans to broadcast a signal making it impossible for anyone to knowingly commit unlawful acts. Graham Bricke (Édgar Ramírez), a career criminal who was never able to hit the big score, teams up with famous gangster progeny Kevin Cash (Michael Pitt), and black market hacker Shelby Dupree (Anna Brewster), to commit the heist of the century and the last crime in American history before the signal goes off.”
