‘Audible’ announces tons of audiobooks for children & teens FREE during Coronavirus lockdown

With the world being put under forced lockdown due to Covronoavirus, different entertainment platforms are offering freebies to make the stay comfortable.

Streaming services such as NetFlix and Prime Videos are one of the sources of entertainment for the majority of people. Online video games are another means to keep people occupied and keep entertained during the quarantine.

However, we are forgetting about a segment of the population that has been trapped indoors and doesn’t have any source of entertainment, the toddlers. Generally, these kids would go to playschool and learn new lessons, but now they have to spend all their time inside the house.

To help kids, Audible has announced that, until the lockdown is lifted, the audiobooks for children will be free for kids, and they could be accessed in six different languages. Furthermore, audiobooks aimed at entertaining a family can also be accessed for free.

Audible has launched, a new service by name of Audible Stories, free audiobooks for small children and teens. Available in six different languages — English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Japanese.

“For as long as schools are closed, we’re open,” Audible said.

In an announcement, Audible said, “For as long as schools are closed, we’re open. Starting today, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.

The stories were hand-picked by our Audible editors and offered a mix of education, entertainment, and general-interest titles, from the classic to the contemporary, with a focus on stories that are suitable for children.”

Some of the best titles that can entertain kids on Audible are Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein,” Herman Melville’s “Moby Dick,” Jack London’s “White Fang,” William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” and A.A. Milne’s “Winnie the Pooh.”

In addition, Audible Theater is offering 9 titles for free during these hard times. However, if you are reading this article, show your toddler the amazing world of Aladdin and Peter Pan with the help of Audible.
